Fellow Members,

I hope that everyone has had a successful hunting season and is ready to start practicing for next year. There are several notes from the club that I would like to inform you of:

· The River Raisin Sportsmen's Club is pleased to have donated $250.00 to the Knights of Columbus for their Christmas basket food drive. The club donates to this worthy cause annually to help out the many needy families in our community.
· We are looking for local businesses to become a "Club Sponsor." The club is going to have signs made up with each sponsor's name, and contact info. We are then going to hang these in the club. If you would like more info contact Bill Strouse 517-486-3691 or 517-605-5080.
· We might have to look for a new venue for our archery banquet due to cost. If you have any ideas or contact info for a nearby rental hall, please talk with one of the league captains.
· We have new lights on the trap range. Thanks to Kevin Loveland, Joe Butts, and Scott Whiteman for donating the materials and their time for these.

The holiday season is almost upon us again, which means there are plenty of activities and events to notify you of. Please take note of the following dates and contact information so that you can be involved:

Work Bee Saturday, December 29th, at 8:00am
o We will paste targets, work on the trap machine and the trap range.
We can always use your help! The more people we have helping, the faster we can get done-we hope to see you there!
Archery leagues start Monday, January 7th
Just a reminder...please check the points of your arrows and make sure they are the same size or a little smaller than the shaft diameter.

We can use all the help we can get for setup and tear down!
